Forcier accepts Michigan offer

UNION-TRIBUNE

September 2, 2008

Scripps Ranch High quarterback Robert “Tate” Forcier will continue his football career at Michigan, the senior announced yesterday.

Forcier said he made his decision Sunday night.

“Why not?” Forcier said via text message yesterday. “Michigan has everything!”

With the Wolverines, the 6-foot-1, 195-pound Forcier steps into a situation where some believe he could make an immediate impact.

Forcier's older brothers, Chris (UCLA) and Jason (Stanford), currently are playing college football. Jason transferred to Stanford from Michigan after the 2006 season.
